Account data: name, email address, and a hashed (not readable) password.
Usage data: the questions you search, the results generated, and the topics you track.

3. How we use it

To create and secure your account, send confirmation, password-reset and alert emails, run your searches and tracked topics, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and improve the service. Search results may be saved and reused to answer other users who ask the same question; your question, name and email are never shown to them. If you create a public link to a result, anyone with the link can see that result and your question until you stop sharing it.

4. Service providers who process data for us

Render (hosting), Turso (database), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments; we never see or store your card number), Anthropic (AI processing of your search question and public source text), and the public data sources we query: OpenAlex, Hacker News, Stack Exchange, GitHub, patent databases, Product Hunt, and web search. 6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time using the "Delete account" link at the bottom of the app, which permanently removes your account, searches, and tracked topics. Under Account > "Delete my data" you can instead delete your searches, tracked topics, feedback, API keys and webhook while keeping your account (email, name and password), your credit balance and payment records. 7. Your rights
